The wear layer on a luxury vinyl plank is the clear film sitting over the printed grain, and it is quoted in mils. Thousandths of an inch. That film is the whole difference between a floor that still looks right after eight years of a hallway and one that goes dull in the traffic lane by year three. It is also the number nobody mentions when they quote you a price per square foot.
We will tell you the number, and tell you which rooms actually need the thicker one. A back bedroom and a hall that takes the whole house do not need the same floor, and pretending otherwise just sells more material.
Wear layer, typical residential range
Thicker is not automatically better value. It is better value in the rooms that earn it. Bring your floor plan into the showroom and we will mark up which is which before anything gets ordered.

Driftwood plank
Grey driftwood tone carried straight through the opening with no threshold strip breaking the line. Getting a run to read as one floor is a setting-out job before it is a fitting job: you decide the direction and the starting course first, then everything downstream lands where it should.
Honey plank
A warm plank laid through a dining room and hall. Rooms like this are why floors get judged at eye level from a doorway rather than up close, and why the plank direction matters more than the plank price.
Arch and foyer
Living room into foyer, under an arched opening. Arches and angled walls are where a floor either looks measured or looks cut to fit, because every board that meets the curve has to be scribed rather than sawn straight.
Mid install
Not a finished photograph, and worth showing anyway. This is what the middle of the day looks like: boards down, offcuts out, tools where the fitter left them. A hallway is the narrowest test of setting out, because a run that drifts even slightly shows against both walls at once.
The showroom
Sample boards inside the glass, and someone to walk them with you. Colour on a phone screen is not colour in your hallway, and holding two planks side by side under real light settles most decisions in about ten minutes.

Wear layer
The floor most Middle Georgia houses end up on, and the one people ask for by name. Solid vinyl core, a clear wear layer on top, and it does not mind a spilled glass or a wet dog.

We measure, we quote, and nothing is ordered or lifted until you have seen the figure and said go ahead. If tear-out is going to add a day, we say so before we start, not on day three.

I remodeled my master bath and upstairs bath and they helped pick out the tile we used in both rooms. We ended up using Italian porcelain. The master bath is 11.5' x 14' and used a lot of tile. They gave us great prices too.
